I am a dedicated and compassionate support worker with many years of experience working in healthcare settings. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of how to support people with different needs, always treating each person with dignity, respect, and kindness. I have experience supporting individuals with a range of conditions including dementia, learning disability, autism, mobility issues, and long-term health conditions. I am confident in helping with personal care, moving and handling, medication support, and promoting independence while ensuring safety at all times. I also understand the importance of emotional support and companionship, and I always take time to build trust and meaningful relationships with the people I care for. I am a patient, calm, and reliable person who can adapt to different situations and work well under pressure. I have strong communication skills and can work effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and clients to deliver the best possible care. I am also very observant and able to notice small changes in a person’s condition and respond appropriately. What I enjoy most about my role is making a positive difference in people’s lives, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and valued in their own home. I take pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and always give my best in every role I take on.
